BOSTON, MA, December 5, 2023 – Casner & Edwards attorney Stéphanie Smith served as a faculty member for the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s (MCLE) 26th Annual Employment Law Conference on December 1st. Smith discussed recent employment law updates on the panel, “Contract, Tort, Wage and Hour, and Legislative Update.”

Smith’s practice focuses on all aspects of employment law, including hiring and firing, performance management and disciplinary action, reductions in force, leaves of absence and other workplace accommodations, protection of intellectual property, and compliance with federal and state employment laws, including wage and hour laws and leave laws. She advises clients on recent employment law developments, including compliance with the Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave Act. Smith has been named a “Top Lawyer” in Labor & Employment by Boston Magazine since its inception in 2021.
