BOSTON, MA, March 13, 2023 – Casner & Edwards announces that Scott S. Spearing has joined the firm as a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Group. He will provide a wide array of legal services to both national and international companies in the areas of insurance coverage, risk-management, and construction law.   Spearing has more than thirty years of experience as an insurance counselor and trial lawyer helping clients navigate complex insurance transactions and construction issues by drafting and negotiating custom-designed insurance policies, performing insurance program reviews and risk analysis, litigating insurance and reinsurance coverage cases, construction disputes and fidelity claims. Prior to joining Casner, he was a shareholder and founding member of Hermes, Netburn, O’Connor & Spearing, P.C. and served as a Captain for six years in the United States Marine Corps. Casner & Edwards’ Co-Managing Partner Michael Zullas said, “Scott brings extensive knowledge of the insurance industry and years of experience in complex insurance coverage matters and risk management consulting to the firm. He received his J.D. from Northeastern University Law School and his B.S from the United States Naval Academy.
