BOSTON, November 22, 2022 – Casner & Edwards announces that attorney Peter I. Dunn chaired the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s (MCLE) program “Private Company Core Merger & Acquisition (M&A) Fluency” on November 16th. The program gave attendees an understanding of the M&A process, key points of negotiation and customary transaction documents.

A partner at the firm, Dunn practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate and securities law, and commercial finance. He works with family businesses, private funds, emerging companies and start-ups in a variety of industries ranging from life sciences, medical devices, high-tech, craft brewing, architecture, engineering and finance to construction and specialty manufacturing. Dunn counsels clients on a wide range of matters such as purchase and sales of businesses, company formation, debt and equity financings, employment matters, corporate governance, as well as workouts and restructurings. He often acts as outside general counsel for his clients, advising them on issues ranging from commercial sales terms, vendor contracts, lending, licensing and compliance.

Dunn is a member of the Boston Bar Association, American Bar Association, the Association for Corporate Growth and serves on MCLE’s Business and Commercial Law Curriculum Advisory Committee. He’s been named as a “Super Lawyer” in the Massachusetts Super Lawyers guide and a “Top Lawyer” by Boston Magazine.
