BOSTON, MA, April 17, 2025 – Casner & Edwards attorney Drew S. Douglas-Steele co-chaired the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s (MCLE) 26th Annual Nonprofit Law Conference 2025 on April 9. Douglas-Steele and Casner partner Peter A. Caro also presented the session, “Real Property Law Considerations for Nonprofits.” The program covered relevant real property considerations for nonprofit organizations, including the Massachusetts charitable property tax exemption, the Dover Amendment, and choice of entity considerations. He has particular experience in advising nonprofit organizations on specialized issues arising in the acquisition, development, use and financing of their real estate.
