Ariana D. Flessas focuses her practice in the area of family law, including divorce, modification, child custody and support, grandparent visitation, guardianship, and contempt. She has experience working with Probate and Family Court Judges to reach decisions on various matters including, but not limited to, child support, child custody, parenting time, alimony, property division, and various probate related issues.
Prior to joining Casner & Edwards, she served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court where she worked closely with justices in the Middlesex and Plymouth divisions. In her role as a Judicial Law Clerk, Ariana assisted Judges in making factual determinations based on the evidence presented to the Court and used those findings to draft judgments, orders, and memorandum of decision. She also researched novel issues and presented findings to Judges through memoranda of law to assist in making just decisions. In college, she interned at a shelter for domestic violence victims. While in law school, she also worked at a clinic for domestic violence victims for nearly two years.
